Cash's stats
We went to the doctor this morning for his 1 year check up. He weighs 20 pounds and 14 ounces. He is 31 inches tall and has a huge noggin. I don't remember the exact size of it but it's in the 75th percentile. In a nutshell, he's tall, thin, with a big head.

Walker Texas Baby
Yes, he started walking the other day. I don't have a video of it yet buy I will tomorrow. He started off slowly but now he's walking all over. He is still working on his balance (which is very cute). It's exciting to watch him learn new things. He is still obsessed with books. He brings me books to read all day. He's crazy about them. He also does this really weird thing where he likes to sit on people or the cat. If he sees the cat sleeping he walks over to her, turns around and sits on her and then reaches behind himself and rests a hand on her. If a grown up lays down on the floor he'll do it to them too. It's really hilarious! I wonder what it means or where he got if from. I gotta try to get a video of it. You won't believe how cute it is.

My baby is ONE!
I can't believe it, where has the time gone? We had too much fun. Cash is such a cool kid. He had a great first Christmas. He loves snow and it snowed all day. He has adjusted really easily to the weather here. He had a fun first birthday too. He has become such a character in his old age. He loves books! He will carry a book across the room and shake it in my face until I read it to him. He also loves to play ball and is amazingly good at throwing it right to you. He'll do it over and over. Genius. He also loves avocados. He eats an average of one a day but you have to feed it to him with a grown-up spoon, no baby spoons for Cash. If you try, he'll yell at you until you get a regular spoon. He is walking a little. He takes a few steps here and there but he always ends up crawling. He laughs all day and has a great sense of humor. Cash's first snow
He didn't know what to make of it. It snowed the day after we got to Olympia. This was just the beginning. It got so bad they declared a state of emergency. We were fine though. We are all loving it here. Cash is getting used to wearing hats and layering. He loves the cat and says "yaya" every time he sees her. Well, we don't have internet set up yet so I'm at Hana's house right now and should go. Take care and happy holidays!

He finally said it!!
Yup, you probably guessed it, he said mama. He has said dada for months now but last Tuesday he said mama for the first time and hasn't really stopped since. I like to think he's saying it to me but I'm not quite sure. He also has a word for dogs that sounds like shadow without the sh. He says it to all dogs though, not just Shadow. He also has a word for fan and I'm pretty sure he says "that". He knows what birds are and he loves the moon, I ask him where it is and he looks up. So cute! I guess that's about it, he had pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving and loved it but other than that he's still not a fan of most foods. I'll try to keep you updated on any new exciting acheivements, until then, take care.
