7 Months Old!!

Yup, he's 7 months old. He's standing and crawling as if he's been doing it for years. He's still doing the weird tongue thing, I dunno what that's about. He's also still drooling like crazy but I don't see any teeth yet. He talks all the time too and he's mastered the dada sound and tons of others. I heard mamamama but it was just rambling. sigh. Well, I have to go pry his hands off the trash can now, don't worry, it's pretty clean :)

I love my bottle

Step away from the pear

He's been eating food for about a month now & we realized that he hates the pureed stuff so we give him really ripe, peeled fruit and he's in heaven.

New tongue thing

He's doing this thing with his tongue lately. For about four days now, all the time, all day long. He's such a character.

just some fun pictures

The top one is Cash and Morgan. She loved to wrestle with the baby. ugh.

The second is Cash and Leia. They had a ton of fun together. I think this was taken just after he tried to tear her nose off.

Soon he'll be doing back flips

I have no photo of this yet but Cash has begun to pull himself up from a sit to a stand. He did it for the fist time last Friday. Now, he does it all the time. The major problem with this is that he does it on things that aren't the most stable, like the empty laundry basket and such. His major driving force to stand is that there's a whole new world 2 feet up that he hasn't had in his mouth yet. He's slowly changing that, one lick at a time. His second new favorite thing is to smash my face with his open mouth and crack up laughing. I'm glad someone enjoys it. He had peas today for the first time. Yay, his barf was green instead of white! He has had rice cereal, sweet potatoes, bananas, and now peas. None of which he liked at all. He still spits everything out and chews on the spoon. If I do manage to get something past his tongue and he is forced to swallow, he closes his eyes and makes a super cute shudder/shiver/cringe. I feel like I'm torturing him but everyone keeps telling me he just needs practice. It's pretty cute how he manages to cover every inch of his face with food. He's an artist. Well, maybe my next entry will be about Cash walking. Hopefully not, I'm not even close to being ready for that. He's growing too fast.

Super Baby!

Cash is crawling. For the last few weeks he's been getting up on all fours and doing push-ups and downward dogs but last Thursday he took off. I was at work at the store and I took him out of the carrier to mop and he shot across the room like an old pro. His favorite toy is any bottle of water. He'll cross any distance for a chance to chew on one. He made a 9 month old baby cry yesturday at a party after he stole his empty Aquafina bottle and tried to eat his shoe. He's licking the corner of my laptop as I write this. Soon I'll figure out how to post video and I'll show you how amazing he is. In the mean time, here is a shot of him crawling for a bottle. Crazy baby.

Cash's first solid food

It was rice cereal very diluted with milk. He seems to like it, at least he likes to eat the spoon.

Half a year old already!

He's such a cool kid. He cracks us up. Talking and yelling is his new favorite thing. He is beginning to reach for people and point. Each day he learns something new.

Sick Boy

Cash has been sick all weekend. He has an ear infection and a bad cold and asthma. He looks so sad. He's all slimey and his eyes are red. Poor baby. He is still super happy and fun considering how bad he must feel.

Sitting up

He sits with no problem now. He's been able to sit for a month or so but now he can do it with easy and without help. I love these leg warmers on him.

Cash is HUGE! He is 5 and a half months old and 18.8lbs. We call him the Michelin Man. You can't even see his diaper in this pic.

Cash is 5 months old today. Time really does fly when you're having fun. I can't believe 5 months. I love this photo. It was taken about a week ago. He is growing so fast. He sits up, sucks his toes and his thumb. He grabs things and puts everything in his mouth. I remember when he was just a lump, now he's a real human. Crazy.

Just a funny picture I took in Olympia. The glasses don't have lenses.

Cash and his homie Asher

This is Cash and his homie Asher. They are exactly 6 weeks apart. Cash is still learning that it's only okay to eat your own feet. He is so rowdy. He never stops moving and talking. He's exhausting and he can't even crawl yet. ugh. He's really into his tongue lately, he's always sticking it out and spitting and all that fun stuff. We also switched to cloth diapers and so now he always has a huge ghetto booty, I love it. Well we hope everyone is great and look forward to your comments.

Cash is almost crawling!

Yikes, He got up on all fours yesturday! He loves being on his tummy and he's been trying to crawl for over a month. He usually just kicks his feet and swings his arms but yesturday he actually got his belly off the ground. Yikes! I'm so not ready for him to be mobile. When his feet aren't in his mouth anything else he can find is. He's growing too fast. He got immunized the other day too. Ugh, I hate that. He took it like a champ though. He screamed for a minute but as soon as he was outside he stopped. He still has a big red lump on his leg. He got weighed and measured at the doctors, he's 17lbs and 25 inches long. BIG BOY.
We visited his buddy Asher yesturday. Ash is 6 weeks younger than Cash. Their visits are usually the same, they look at eachother and then Ash goes to sleep while Cash makes me hold him for the rest of the visit.
His reflux is doing a lot better. He takes Zantac twice a day and it seems to be helping. He still pulkes a lot but he seems more comfortable.
We had a great time in Washington. Cash enjoyed the cooler climate and all the fresh air. We walked all over, he was a great traveler. I think my favorite part of the trip was taking naked pictures of him on the sheepskin. The fake glasses were fun too.
I'm going to have those printed large so I can frame them. Ha!
Overall Cash is a great, easy baby that is so fun and full of energy and excitement. We learn new things everyday.
