Getting so big!

So Cash will be 27 months old tomorrow and Olive will be 5 months on Sunday. Time sure flies. Cash is carrying on conversations and singing songs. He loves making songs out of whatever he's talking about. I just put him to bed and I can hear him on the monitor talking away. I hear "I don't go to bed anymore, I don't like it". He's a crack up. We just got a huge playground for the yard with a slide and three swings, a climbing wall and monkey bars. He loves it but it's rained since the day after we got it. It's torturing him. None of us can wait for summer.
Olive Rose is my little sweetheart. She is so easygoing and happy. She's rolling over and scoots around on her belly. She's almost sitting up by herself. She can do it most of the time. She grabs things and pulls them into her mouth. She can take her pacifier in and out. She adores Cash. If he just walks by her she smiles and shrugs her shoulders and puts on her "cute show" as I call it. She's been teething for about a month now. She's drooling buckets and today she started chewing her tongue. She also has a mean runny nose as of today. I feel so bad for her. She has trouble eating because she has to breathe through her mouth. I have to prop her up to sleep. I've been holding her all day and I didn't know what I was going to do with her when I had to put Cash to bed so I buckled her into her swing and turned the "rain forest noises" on high and went downstairs with Cash and by the time I got back upstairs she was sound asleep. Now I'm sitting at my kitchen table listening to the rain forest trying not to go mad. At least she's not upset anymore.
Well, I guess that's about it, thanks for reading all this.
love, Hali

She started chewing her tongue today. It's the funniest thing to see her just chewing away on her tongue. Poor baby, those teeth must be on their way.

sitting up

Yup, she sitting up. She's not totally doing it on her own yet but she can do it for a while without tipping over. I just stay nearby to catch her. She started this about 1 to 2 weeks ago.
